Temperature transition 100%

The slider interpolates temperature, not elapsed time or a thermal simulation. Once calculable, the cold assembly setting stays fixed throughout the transition; it is never redesigned at each frame. External loads stay constant. Section shapes are schematic. Read numerical displacements below; no physical deformation scale is implied.

Catalogue speed basis

No STEP file is required. Roller count, full length and contact angle come from the selected record. Lwe = ratio × full length; 0.90 is an editable model assumption. Matching records use documented cold and hot SimPro curves; other records use source-profile estimates.

Setting step and tolerance are separate. Positive setting = endplay; negative setting = axial interference. The search compares the load-zone life (roller load distribution at each setting, times ISO 281 aISO from the oil grade, the warmer ring temperature and ηc) at nine operating tolerance samples and cold assembly checks; the ISO 281 basic L10h is shown next to it. The manufacturing step defaults to 10 µm.

Ks and Kh describe the structural load path only. Use relative A–B interface movement, not peak total deformation. Keep bearing contact compliance out of these values.

Operating tangent stiffness Kn[kN/mm]

Force comes from curve deformation and equilibrium. Kn is the local slope after convergence, not a multiplier for total closure. Radial–axial equilibrium and first-order speed effects are included. Intermediate-temperature coupled forces are withheld; no full tilt/flange stiffness matrix is solved.
